Who i am
Hey — I’m Matthew Alli, a freelance videographer and content creator based in Omaha, Nebraska.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been obsessed with creating. I grew up filming skits and home movies with my brother, editing videos just for fun, and uploading them to YouTube whenever I could. I still remember my first “real” camera — a Canon Rebel T5i — and the feeling of holding it in my hands for the first time. That was the moment I knew I was hooked.
Fast forward to now: I’ve graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Psychology. Now I get to combine everything I love — storytelling, branding, filmmaking — into a career that’s all about helping people bring their ideas to life through video.
My style is all about cinematic feels and raw energy — honest storytelling with a visual punch. Whether it’s a personal brand, a business, or a cause you believe in, I want to help you tell that story in a way that connects.
This isn't just about videography for me — it's about impact. Helping people create, grow, and get their message across is what drives me. That’s why I invite you to keep exploring this site and check out my work across socials too. If something clicks, reach out — you can shoot me a message through the contact form, or hit me up via DM.
Thanks for being here. Let’s make something meaningful.

A lot more than most people realize.
Before filming, I spend time understanding your vision, researching references, and mentally mapping out the vibe, pacing, and tone. Even for simple shoots, I’m planning framing, lighting, and how to make it feel cinematic. This creative prep is crucial and shapes everything that follows. -
Because great visual storytelling requires more than skill—it takes mindset and emotional effort.
Editing or filming when you're in a true creative headspace is what gives a project its soul. You’re paying for someone who knows how to dial into that mode and produce something with taste, clarity, and intention. That kind of focus isn’t automatic—it’s earned. -
Most of the work happens after the shoot.
A single minute of finished video can mean 5–15+ hours of editing: organizing footage, picking the best takes, syncing sound, designing audio, applying color grading, motion effects, and polishing transitions. Photo edits go through a similar process—careful culling, retouching, and stylizing every frame. -
